I am a Registered Nutritionist in Perth, Western Australia. My approach to nutrition and wellness is practical and family focused. I don’t believe that there is a perfect diet for everyone and it is my job as your nutritionist to help you find the one that works for you. All my clients receive tailored nutrition and health information.
My strength as a nutritionist is decoding complex health messages into practical real-life advice that will make a real difference to your health and well being.
Individuals and families ask for my help to improve their health. I also assist personal trainers, wellness coaches and bloggers to improve the information they provide their clients and readers. Read my full list of services here.
Sarah Moore Wellness is a source for the latest nutrition information, news and recipes. The information and advice I give on my site is evidence-based to suit the health and well being of most people. Everyone is unique and you may need more specific assistance to overcome your concerns. So get in touch, I’d love to hear from you and help you on your own health journey.
Qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Health (Nutrition), both from Curtin University. I am a Registered Nutritionist and hold current membership with the Nutrition Society of Australia.
I am qualified to give personal dietary advice and to prescribe practitioner only supplements if required. If you have a medical condition, I am not able to provide nutritional therapy as part of treatment for medical conditions or to diagnose allergy or intolerance. Only a dietitian or medical doctor is able to do that safely and effectively. I can help you to implement additional nutrition and lifestyle strategies based on a medical diagnosis while you are under the care of a medical practitioner.
Work History
Straight from university I worked for a not-for-profit organisation, for almost a decade. I ran a nutrition literacy program, helping families to eat well on a budget. Everyday I was out in the community delivering nutrition education workshops to individuals and nutrition training for community sector workers.
Combining my knowledge and experience in nutrition and health education with my love of helping people reach their goals, I launched Sarah Moore Wellness at the end of 2016, after the birth of my daughter in 2015.
I have been published in peer-reviewed journal articles, newspaper features and blogs. I have delivered conference presentations, spoken on radio segments and interviewed on national TV. I regularly present corporate education sessions and casual community group workshops.
I live with my husband Roger, our daughter Willow and our dog, Oscar.
